Derek brings extensive operational leadership experience to his role as CEO and franchise owner of Signal of Austin. Prior to joining Signal, he spent over a decade managing multi-million-dollar retail operations, where he developed a strong foundation in team leadership, operational efficiency, and customer service. He later joined the Signal Home Office, where he advanced through the operations team and ultimately served as Director of Operations for North America, supporting franchise locations across the network. His approach is rooted in operational effectiveness, building strong relationships, and consistently prioritizing the client experience. Originally not from Austin, Derek has since made it his home and is deeply committed to serving and contributing to the local community through reliable, high-quality security services.
