GRASKOP GORGE LIFT COMPANY
Overview
The Graskop Gorge Lift Company is centrally located on the Panorama Route. While it is an ideal stopover point, it is also an end destination in its own right, with lots to do on-site and in the area. Most areas are wheelchair and pram friendly.
The Lift
The viewing lift takes visitors 51m down the face of the gorge into the indigenous forest below.
The Forest
Enjoy a walk with the family in our Afromontane forest, where a trail of elevated walkways and suspension bridges await.
Suspension Bridge
Hold your breath and venture across the 52m suspension bridge, 70m above the gorge.
Zipline
The Zipline gives you a bird’s-eye view of the gorge.
Big Swing
The Big Swing is all about adrenaline. Freefall 70m into the forest in under 3 seconds.
Swing Café
The Swing Café is a laid-back chill zone that invites you to Get Delicious, Real Quick! Enjoy flame-grilled chicken and more.
The Lift Café
The Lift Café is a spacious, inviting restaurant and bar with the most spectacular views.
Locally Bru’d
Locally Bru’d embraces local culture. It is stocked with a range of locally made clothing, shoes, jewellery and specialty sweets, as well as African crafts and curios.
Re-Freshed @ The Gorge
Upmarket, locally produced ceramics, plus lifestyle shop which also sells biltong, upmarket treats, nougats etc.
Slowveld & Dibaba
The Simply Slowveld and Dibaba brands joined forces to open an authentic store at Graskop Gorge Lift Co
Community Craft Centre
The Community Craft Centre specialises in African art, African wire and wood sculptures, woven baskets, pottery, crafts and curios.
