Just 2.5 hours from Cape Town, your journey north along the legendary Route 62 becomes an adventure in itself: winding through breathtaking mountain vistas, sun-drenched vineyards, charming farm stalls, inviting restaurants, fragrant orchards, and finally, the majestic, award-winning town of Montagu.
From there, a 30-kilometre dirt road — about 45 minutes of anticipation — leads you deeper into the heart of the Karoo, to the gates of African Game Lodge. Every moment of the journey hints at the magic that awaits, and we promise: it’s more than worth it.
Here, on our 4,500-hectare private game reserve, time slows down. You can lose yourself in quiet reflection, the rhythm of nature, or simply the joy of doing nothing at all.
