The mouth of the Crocodile River runs through the 130 Hectare farm ideal for river fishing. The farm boasts three glorious trout fishing lakes. These exclusive lakes have won the ‘Best Waters’ award during the prestigious Dullstroom Classic fly-fishing competition – three years in a row. Fishing prices are included in the price on catch and release basis.

A grassy landscape surrounds the farm and is unique with its own abundant flora. There are more than 50 different grass orchids that can be spotted in Spring and Summer, as well as The National Protea flower that grows wildly all year round on this cold landscape. The farm has wild game and has a wide range of rare bird species such as Secretary birds and the Blue Crane, which is the National bird of South Africa, that can also be observed in their wild habitat on the Spring Valley Farm.

Situated on the Kruisfontein Road just 4km outside of Dullstroom, Spring Valley farm is a Malaria free zone, offering unique accommodation in Dullstroom and is the perfect halfway stop for tourists from Gauteng on their way to the Kruger National Park or Mozambique.

We have two separate luxury self catering divisions on the serene Spring Valley Farm: Spring Valley Retreat and Serengeti Log Cabin.

Spring Valley Retreat self catering accommodation in Dullstroom can host one group of up to ten people. Facilities include an entertainment club house with lounge, kitchen, dining room, deck area and five gorgeous en-suite bedrooms opening onto a private deck with a lake view.

Serengeti log cabin is the newest addition to the farm. It is exclusive self-catering accommodation in Dullstroom and this log cabin overlooks spectacular views over the rolling hills and picturesque wetlands where wild game roams on. It has two deluxe en-suite rooms with two three quarter beds and an upstairs loft space with two single beds. Each room is perfect for two families of four but in general the cabin can sleep up to eight people minimum two people. There is a state of the art kitchen, lounge with fireplace, dining and braai area.

We are the perfect getaway accommodation in Dullstroom for families and friends for a long and comfortable stay away from home.

Kindly note that we only accommodate group bookings over weekends consisting of a certain amount of guests. During the week from Monday to Friday we accept bookings consisting of 2+ guests provided it does not fall in school holiday period. The lodges are booked as one unit and never shared with another group.
